Canceling or reactivating your account

Cancel your subscription, pause your account, or reactivate after cancellation.

We're sorry to see you go! Whether you need to cancel, pause, or reactivate your account, this guide walks you through the process and explains what happens to your data.

Before You Cancel

Consider these alternatives:

  • Downgrade: Switch to a cheaper plan instead of canceling
  • Pause: Temporarily suspend (keeps your data, no charges)
  • Contact support: We may be able to help with issues you're facing

Tell Us Why You're Leaving

Select a reason for canceling:

  • Too expensive
  • Not using it enough
  • Missing features I need
  • Switching to a competitor
  • Business closing
  • Other

Choose Cancellation Date

Select when to cancel:

  • End of billing period: Keep access until your paid period ends (recommended)
  • Immediately: Cancel now, no refund for unused time
Tip

Choose "End of billing period" to get your money's worth. You've already paid for the month, so use it!

Confirm Cancellation

Review what happens when you cancel:

  • AI will stop responding to customers
  • Integrations will disconnect
  • Team members will lose access
  • Data will be retained for 90 days

Click Cancel Subscription to confirm

Important

After cancellation, your AI assistant will stop working immediately (or at period end). Make sure you have alternative customer service coverage.

What Happens to Your Data

  • First 90 days: All data retained, can reactivate anytime
  • After 90 days: Data permanently deleted
  • Conversations: Archived but accessible if you reactivate
  • Contacts: Preserved for 90 days
  • Custom settings: Saved for 90 days

Download Your Data

Before canceling, export important information:

  1. Go to CRMExport Contacts
  2. Go to MessagesExport Conversations
  3. Go to SettingsExport All Data

Pause Your Account Instead

If you need a temporary break:

  1. Go to SettingsBillingPause Account
  2. Select pause duration (1-6 months)
  3. Click Pause Subscription

While paused:

  • No charges during pause period
  • All data preserved
  • AI stops responding
  • Can reactivate anytime

Refund Policy

Monthly Subscriptions

No refunds for monthly plans. If you cancel mid-month, you keep access until the end of your billing period.

Annual Subscriptions

Prorated refund available if:

  • You've used less than 3 months of service
  • You contact support within 30 days of cancellation
  • No history of refund abuse

Reactivate Your Account

Changed your mind? Reactivate easily:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click Reactivate Subscription
  3. Select your plan
  4. Update payment method if needed
  5. Click Reactivate

What Gets Restored

When you reactivate within 90 days:

  • All contacts and conversations restored
  • AI training and settings preserved
  • Integrations need to be reconnected
  • Team members regain access
  • Service resumes immediately

After 90 Days

If you reactivate after 90 days:

  • Data is permanently deleted (can't be recovered)
  • You start fresh with a new account
  • Need to reconnect all integrations
  • Retrain your AI assistant
  • Re-import contacts if you exported them
Important

After 90 days, your data is gone forever. Export everything important before canceling!

  • Export first: Download all data before canceling
  • Cancel at period end: Get full value from your payment
  • Try pausing: If you might come back, pause instead of cancel
  • Contact support: We might be able to solve your issue
  • Downgrade option: Consider a cheaper plan instead
  • Reactivate quickly: Don't wait past 90 days if you want your data

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. Cancel whenever you want.

Will I get charged after canceling?

No. Once canceled, you won't be charged again unless you reactivate.

Can I reactivate with a different plan?

Yes! When reactivating, choose any plan. You're not locked into your previous plan.

What happens to my custom domain?

Custom domains are released after 30 days. If you reactivate within 30 days, you keep your domain.

Can I transfer my account to someone else?

Yes. Contact support to transfer ownership instead of canceling.

Troubleshooting

Can't find cancel button

Solution: Only account owners can cancel. If you're a team member, ask the owner to cancel or transfer ownership to you first.

Still being charged after canceling

Solution: Check cancellation confirmation email. Verify cancellation in Settings → Billing. If confirmed but still charged, contact support immediately.

Can't reactivate

Solution: Update payment method first. If past 90 days, you'll need to create a new account. Contact support if you need help.

Data missing after reactivation

Solution: If you reactivated within 90 days, contact support to restore data. If past 90 days, data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
